SUPERSONIC ROBBIE

About Me

I am Supersonic Robert, guitarist.... I started playing at the age of 16 and started my first band in ’87. Then some years later I joined a technotrashmetalband called Sacrosanct(featuring ex-Pestilence guitarist Randy Meinhard). The following year I joined Erwin Nijhoff when he formed the Prodigal Sons in the early 90’s, something completely different but I had to step on board with this amazing singer. Before their hitsingle "You still think" they had already kicked me out of the band and I returned to the metalscene once again. I auditioned for a thrashband called Mystrez and I stayed with them for almost two years and did some really cool shows with those guys. From ’96 - ’99 I played in a big mistake, hahaha. Then I met Willemien Ahuis and with her I got to play really cool music again, it took some time to find other musicians wich we found eventually and that was the beginning of Hazy Jane and I played for almost six years in this band before I had to leave them because of the usual musical differences. At the moment I’m trying to get SUPERSONIC REHAB together. Ronny, Dennis and I are currently looking for a bassplayer and a singer. More info will follow.....The music you hear on this page is instrumental and recorded on a simple 16-track workstation. A crappy ass drumcomputer and sometimes a cheap keyboard along with some guitars, so nothing really fancy!!
