Influences: English version::
I think, possibly every kind or form of music I've ever
heard in my whole life, and I am not just talking of
the songs that really "flashed" me or melodies that
really touched me deep inside, but I'm talking of all
the music ever heard so far (knowingly or unknowingly)
was somehow formative and inspiring to me...
You can imagine it like a sponge, soaking up everything
and so, after a while, containing everything...
In this case, you can use all the styles and this leads to
nearly endless possibillities of creativeness...
Nevertheless, I try to be independend and special in
my songs, as far as possible.
I think there's nothing more tiring to a musician than
frases like: "you sound like..."
or: "reminds me of..."
Actually it IS very difficult to create something really,
new in music or art but...:
Beeing compared with good musicians / artists is
actually a compliment... isn't it!?!

Ich denke, wahrscheinlich hat mich jede Form
von Musik, die ich jemals gehört habe, und da
spreche ich nicht nur von Songs, die mich "geflashed"
oder von Melodien, die mich berührt haben, sondern
von allem, was mir an Musik jemals begegnet ist,
geprägt und inspiriert.
Ich denke, man kann sich das vorstellen, wie einen
Schwamm, der alles aufsaugt und alles in sich hat...
So gesehen kann man sich natürlich auch aller
möglichen Dinge und Einflüsse bedienen.
Trotzdem versuche ich, in meinen Songs immer,
soweit wie möglich, eigenständig zu sein.
Ich denke, für einen Musiker gibt es kaum etwas
ermüdenderes, als immer wieder zu hören:
"das klingt irgenwie wie..."
oder: "das erinnert mich an..."
Wobei es tatsächlich immer schwieriger wird, noch
etwas gaaanz Neues zu entwickeln und...:
Man darf den Vergleich mit guten anderen Musikern
ja durchaus als Kompliment werten... oder nicht!?!
