Band Members: All song written and played by: Chelsea LatimerChelsea Latimer is a 21 year old singer/songwriter who comes by her passion for music naturally. Growing up in Colorado, her mother owned a successful dance studio that not only gave her the background of dance, but the foundation upon which she would build her influences around. Being inspired daily by all types of music, Chelsea began to piece together her influences from old soul singers, and lyrics of Elton John and James Taylor, the commercial aspects from the pop stars of her generation and meld her own sound. After deciding her arts high school was too restricting, not supporting her in her dream of being a “pop star”, she home schooled at the age of 15, teaching herself, and eventually graduated a year early, quickly moving to Los Angeles. Though she has a strong foundation in dance, theater, writing, and acting, arriving in L.A. meant one thing, the pursuit of music. After living and struggling for a year she attended Musicians Institute, where she very first touched the keys of a piano, only in Oct of 2005, and began writing her own songs putting her success in her own hands. This was not her first attempt of writing; in fact, she has sung and written in different genres, ultimately leading to her true sound. Now Chelsea hopes to continue that success of the mere beginning of her career, as an all around artist. Hoping to land a record deal, and expand on from the foundation and vision she has laid out.
