At first I'm the proud father of Giel, our son. I'm also proud to be with my girlfriend, Martina.
They are the most importent people in my life.
Next to that I'm a bass player.My Story so far:I started playing when I was 21. I immediately started playing in a band called Dragonsfire.
Musically almost everything was possible, so we combined all sorts of metal with blues, acoustics, classical, rock and whatever else sounded good.
Most important was the atmosphere of the music and that the music fit the lyrics.
After a few years Dragonsfire split up and with the remaining band members we started a new band with a new style of music.
We wanted to keep the songs compact and simple. We found a guitarist fast and started under the name Suffer in Silence. We later changed the name to Silent Despair.
I left S.D. because we moved to the other side of Holland and the drive to rehearsals was simply to far.At this point I'm without a band but looking around.
