Hip-Hop Is Dead; I'm Just Tryin To Restore It

About Me

Wassup people, I'm 19 years off age and I started practicing the Art of Hip-Hop around 5 or 6 years ago. The funny thing about it is that I was raised up listening to Dancehall, Reggae, and Lovers Rock, and never thought that I would be producing Hip-Hop music. I started producing from music software that was introduced to me by my good friend Rev-o. At the time, we thought that it was the best software in the world. The software was called Music 2000, created for Playstation, Yes that's right; Playstation. At the time I thought that I was one of the greatest producer using Music 2000, but then years later my ear's evolved and I realized that the music I had been producing was actually rubbish and not the best. I then was introduced to another music production software called Fruity Loops 4. At first, I hated using the program, but eventually grew to love using it. Since using Fruity Loops 4, I have stayed loyal to the program, and am currently producing with the Fruity Loops 6 edition. I have been studying many ways to progress my skills, and am always looking to raise my game to the next level. When I started going college I studied Art and Design for 2 years, but recognized my love for making music and enrolled on a Music Technology course. I'm currently studying in my last year on that course, but next year I plan on going Uni to study music in greater depth (Knowledge Is Power) My view's on Hip-Hop of today is that I think that Hip-Hop is DEAD. I.e....sad to say it, but it’s the truth. Everyday that goes by another So Called MC or Rapper kills Hip-Hop. These days only a few REAL rappers exists. Too much rappers sell their souls to the devil for CASH, and forget where they’re coming from. Certain rappers only rap for the fame and royalty and not for the love of the art. Its such a shame, but I can’t it anymore, Hip-Hop, is now HIP-POP. I feel sorry for the real Hop-Hop heads that Eat, Sleep, and Breathe the Art, because they’re the ones who ain..t getting any recognition. The only thing left of Hip-Hop is the Underground scene. That’s where Hip-Hop Lives and will always live, Respect to the Underground rappers keeping Hip-Hop alive. Most of the Hip-Hop we see on TV and hear on the radio is trash....It’s just full of GREEDY, NO SKILLS, FAKE so called artists which don’t appreciate the art form. The UK Hip-Hop talent is good and progressing every step of the way, but you always get those fake dudes who put on Fake Accents to sound American, DON’T ACT LIKE YOU DON’T KNOW WHO YOU ARE. Keep it real brother, if your born in the UK, then your born in UK. Certain fake UK rappers act like they’re from CHESHIRE HARLEM, don’t hate cause your getting Exposed. I’m just keeping.. it real. I wish that I could restore Hip-Hop to it’s original form, but it’s gonna take more than just me to do it. My effort wouldn’t even make a Microscopic difference, but you know what, I’m TRY ANYWAY. So come on people, GIMME SOME FEEDBACK!!
I created my own profile using nUCLEArcENTURy.COM and you should too!
