LOCOBASS aka Lloyd Reid had his first residency at the early age of 15 at a local nightclub in his home town of Limavady. At the age of 18 he secured his first major residency at ENIGMA, Irelands largest club(www.enigma-superclub.com)under the DJ name of MUGENDO playing alongside and warming up for premier league djs such as James Zabiela, Steve Lawler , Paul Van Dyk, Marco V and Scot Project to name but a few. Through his time at Enigma hes had the pleasure of playing for the famous GODSKITCHEN twice and major clubs in Ireland north and south including THE COACH, BANBRIDGE, N17 KILTAMACH and also had the chance to play at one of Irelands biggest dance festivals COLOURSFEST IRELAND 2003 which he headlined the Homegrown Arena.In 2003 he also played with Enigma on Tour in IBIZA which he got to spin at a wicked little club in the west end called PLAY 2. Also that year he got the unique chance to play at the last ever 2FM SESSIONS TOUR broadcast live on new years eve. The following year he was back on the white isle and secured a residency at THE BULL BAR and also ran his SURROUND SOUND CLUBBING nights at different venues on the isle!Through this he got to play other major clubs including The Coco Loco room in PRIVILEDGE, (the worlds largest club), SPACE, EDEN, ES PARIDISE,LOVE and other minor clubs including BAR M, SAVANNAGHS, THE ORANGE CORNER and KANYA.2006 has seen him at THE WINTER MUSIC CONFERENCE, MIAMI, SCOTLAND and back to IBIZA again!Now you can catch him playing at different venues in Northern Ireland and further afield and he has launched his own night branded SURROUND SOUND ELECTRONIC with a music policy covering Electronic House and Techno. 2007 has seen him off to a flying start as not only has he been presented with a list of bookings, but his first production THAT DEFAULT TRACK was immediatly picked up and signed by major label EMOTIVE SOUNDS in Italy! His second single REBOOT THE MACHINE is already being smashed by major jocks across Europe and has been predicted for big things!
August 2007 has seen him play over 5000 miles away @ ULTRA CLUB in Cancun, Mexico and just freshly back has came up with the new venture of UNDER 18S CLUBBING (www.bebo.com/under18sclubbing) a club night dedicated to educating 13 - 17 year olds in dance music.
