Tommy Crain & the Crosstown Allstars

BLIND WILLIE'S Tuesday 6/24 Atlanta GA

About Me

Tommy Crain, from Franklin, Tennessee, is best known for his two decades of work with the Charlie Daniels Band. A pioneer of Southern Rock, he wrote songs and performed on over 20 CDB albums, winning a Grammy for The Devil Went Down To Georgia. You will undoubtedly recognize his fiery guitar work and blue-hot slide playing!

Crain's newest musical venture incorporates heart-felt blues, funky rock, and R&B. In 2004 he hooked up with Atlanta-based blues band, The Crosstown Allstars, and the Southern rockin' blues were born! Tommy Crain & the Crosstown Allstars features Crain on guitar, slide, and vocals, Bob Rumer on guitar, slide, and lead vocals, Kerry Creasy on bass and vocals, and Towson Engsberg on drums.
The band's current cd is an original project titled Give It To Ya on Chattahoochee Records and is available through CD Baby and Hittin' the Note. Tommy Crain & the Crosstown Allstars are currently at work on their second album.
