About Me
So.....Welcome!
First of all, my name is Bryan Anthony and I’m from a small town called Cornwall. It has been said: "nothing good ever comes from Cornwall." Well, I guess I’d like to be able to porve that wrong.Across from Cornwall, on the other side of the St. Lawrence river, is the U.S.A., and two border towns...Ogdensburg and Massena. The same has been said about these two towns as well. Well, I hate to say it (not)...but good things can and often do come from small towns and I am sure that it will only be a matter of time before I am joined by friends from these other two towns as well as my original hometown. These will prove that good things can come from anywhere, even from a place called Smallville that hardly anyone heard about.Speaking of Smallville:The Smallville in the U.s.A is the same as the Smallville in Canada and any other place in the world. So, take pride in your home town.Good things grow wherever there are people who take pride in what they do and are determined to make a dream or two come true. So, if you come from a Smallville of your own (or even a Bigville) dare to touch the sky and if someone should tell you that it is impossible to do so, remind them of the Wright Brothers and their wonderful flying machine. Then say the following: "Oh yeah! Wanna see me do it? Cuz they put men on the moon, ya know, and that was even hihgher than the sky, farthest place from Smallville you will ever find, and the men who did this thing were just ordinary men...no xray vision, no super powers at all!"The fact is that the most incredible things are accomplished by the smallest people and that, I think, is what makes it so incredible when they do that! Wouldn’t you agree?

_Welcome to my MYSPACE page. First, you ought to know that music, in all it’s diverse forms/genres/styles/flavours, is a passion for me, a serious one...listening to it as well as making it. Always has been! Always will be! Conductor and composer, Leonard Bernstein put it this way: "Music is a gift of God and it is divine!" I believe that to be one of the truest things ever said.A Passion For Living
Life is also a thing that I have come to be very passionate about, now more so than ever before. Maybe that’s because I am age fifty six (oops...shouldn’t have told you that) and better able to appreicate things I couldn’t appreicate well enough when I was a wet behind the ears pup (I’m so much younger than that now, but you’ll have to reach this point before you can understand how that can be so). I don’t know, or actually, I do know, what compels me to say "take nothing for granted and do count your blessings. I don’t think it’s the Devil makin’ me say that. He’s not into appreciating anytihng at all, except for getting Flip Wison to wear a red dress (oh, I forgot...some of you probably don’t even know who Flip Wilson is/was, ...well, ask your parents). Anyway, if you can’t be passionate about something/anything (good), then it’s probably time to reevaluate what you are doing, maybe even how you are living...and giving.A Passion For Music
Doing music and living life would be nothing, though, without having people, good people, to relate to. You’ve all heard that expression: "No man is an island". Well, that is true. He may be a peninsula, but he can never cut himself off form others and feel good about it. Heck...even Robinson Cruesoe wanted to be rescued or, at the very least, found himself hoping for company to drop by. So, I figure, why bother setting up a page if we, who call ourselves artists, have to keep our distance from each other and from those whom we’d like to have as an audinece...hopefully an audience that we can also refer to as friends. I’ve actually made some good ones here, so, I do believe I am in a better position that poor Mr. Cruesoe. You’ll find a significant number of music makers, past and present, in my list of friends , some better known than others, but, as far as I’m concerned, all are equal in talent and musical ability. There is a lot of good music being made here, all worth listening to. I know cos I’ve been creeping around in my spare time and listening .Passionate Men With Passionate Dreams
There once was a man, another passionnate soul, a dreamer (a visionary who asked us all to ’give peace a chance’...which we really haven’t done nealy enough of yet), and he, along with three of his mates (after shaking the world up with their own brand of rock and roll), said ’ALL YOU NEED IS LOVE’ (say THE WORD: LOVE...kinda has a nice ’feel’ to it). Well, I think he was right. I think we’ve all seen what HATE can do...has done. I think we’ve all had a glimpse at what indifference can do too. So, why can’t we all come to our senses and then come to terms with the fact that, yes, a little bit of L-O-V-E could make things a whole lot brighter/better for all of us. Maybe see a lot less suffering in the world, and a lot more happiness, not for just a few, but for everyone. Now that would be something to get passionate about, wouldn’t it?
There was another man who started off a song of his own with: "I see skies of blue for me and you"! A bit later in the song he said: "I see people passing by saying how do you do...they’re really saying I love you". So, if we’re going to be calling ourselves friends on a site like this, or wherever people might meet, don’tcha think it would be nice to at least say ’welcome and how do you do? Well, forutunately, I’ve met quite a few, all ages, all walks of life, who are actually doing that. These are the people that make it worth being here, and even make it worth doing the music too.A Passion For...Making music is my passion, yes. So is life. What brings it all together? What makes it all worthwhile? The people you meet and the friends you make along the way to wherever it is you are going. All of this adds up to a destination you don’t really know exists until you actually get there!Bryan AnthonyMusic Links
