About Me

Lexie was born on the 29th day of March, 1982 in Missoula, MT. At the time of writing this, that would make her 25 years old, an Aries, and a Montanan. Lexie enjoys frequently taking up new hobbies, then dropping them shortly thereafter when they prove to be too time-consuming/difficult/expensive/boring. Examples are: Knitting, which was not successful because she discovered that she did not have the patience to finish anything substantial, and as a result has a drawer full of 3" x 5" pot-holders/coasters; Decoupage, which stopped being exciting when Lexie ran out of surfaces to glue scraps of paper to; Golf, which Lexie only finds enjoyable when she's good at it, and that is not nearly often enough; Wine Connoisseurism, which she promptly forgot about after consuming two bottles of cheap cabernet sauvignon and spilling Powerade on her Wine Basics for Dummies book. Her current hobby of choice is reading comic books, but if you ask her about it in a month, she'll probably say "Yeah, it was cool, but I had to, like, read and stuff. There weren't nearly enough pictures." Lexie is currently a junior at the University of Montana and studying Latin in hopes of one day being able to introduce herself as "Lexie the Lexicographer". Lexie also has a penchant for soft, fuzzy things, such as chinchillas. Especially chinchillas. Though she has a sneaking suspicion that they are actually rodents, which, if The Great Mouse Invasion of 2007 has taught her anything, she dislikes. Presently, Lexie is finding it slightly disquieting how much she is enjoying writing in the third person. She'll try not to make a habit of it, as she realizes that it could become quite annoying. That is, of course, if it hasn't already.

And um... well... I love Ashlee Simpson. Please don't judge me.

Boondock Saints, Wet Hot American Summer, Sin City, Elf, Dirty Dancing - Havana Nights, Harry Potter, Garden State, V for Vendetta, Waiting, Dark Days, Armageddon, X-Men, and I'm sure many, many more that I can't think of right now.

Television:

I currently get one channel, and it's not even a good one. Who wants to watch PBS?? Then the other day I got a TV Guide magazine in the mail, and apparently they think I ordered a subscription to it. Why would I need a guide for the one channel I have but never watch?? But I do love tv. I miss it. Especially CSI, Law & Order, The O.C., America's Next Top Model, Project Runway, So You Think You Can Dance, the History Channel and the Discovery Channel, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Arrested Development, The Office, and Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends. Wow. After looking at that list, it's probably a really good thing I only get PBS. As a side note, I watch more cartoons than anyone in their mid-20's should.
