Udo Schild is a Singer/Songwriter from Cologne, Germany.Music full of poetry, strength... hope... longing...
melancholy... sometimes ironically.
Inspired by the Love for Nature, his Songs find their
own expression.
Documented by three own CD publications and
numerous concerts in the last 20 years,
with Charlie Mariano, Xaver Fischer, Joe Sample,
Claudius Valk and as Solo-Support for Artists
such as Bobby Womack, Johnny "Guitar" Watson,
Tower of Power, Omar, Carmel, Spyro Gyra
and Alexander O'Neal.Udo Schids CD "Morning", which was recorded live and
unplugged at Cologne Studio "Topaz",
received great attention....He sings with this smoky, velvet voice in that Borderland
of Soul and Jazz, fascinates hundreds of People,
which hear him, they are too few...,
but in his section, up to now,
we loved to listen more to Al Green or Van Morrison,
Tim Buckley or Marvin Gaye...,
