i live in the east village in nyc. i make music with my boy, doug "drrty" gomez , who lives on the other side of town...together we put out some cuts on gomma last fall. since then we got picked up by tirk records and will be releasing our first ep, "the beat to def ep" in july of 2007. as drrtyhaze, both doug and i are currenly working on a full length album consisting of nothing but funky disco songs with a common theme, nyc. we also drop mixes on an internet radio site called brooklyn radio and play live around nyc.
positive people are cool in my book...the funky ones are the ones i like to keep real close....i like to tell stories although i can get lost in my own thoughts at times...
i like the city and the way it makes me feel when i come back to it after being gone for a while. i like the summers and the noise. i like riding the m60 bus across 125th street while the sun sets and makes all the buildings appear rusty and outlined in gold.
music and all of my friends and family are my happiness....
