About Me

The Bobman (DJ Fusion) is native of Central Florida. Born in Orlando in 1971, He has been a part of the influential music scene here in Florida. He was a disciple of the Aahz era and was heavily influenced by local godfather's Kimball Collins, Icey and Dave Cannalte and musical artist such as Bob Marley, Jane's Addiction, Kyper, Sublime, New Order, Depeche Mode, Front 242, Dynamix II, 2 Live Crew, Ministry, AC/DC, the Gucci Crew and Steel Pulse. Originally, he was dubbed the "Bobman" while working at the The Edge in the early 90's promoting upfront concerts with bands like the Beastie Boys, Live and Pearl Jam and playing in Icey's huge rave parties with the crews like Suburban Base UK, Two Bad Mice and Afrika Bambatta. He then moved to Europe and the Mediterranean and then later back to Central Florida where he has held residencies at Icon, Firestone, Croc Club and Alpha Bar/Skinny's. Fusion is known for powerful, high octane sets droppin' some old skool, fat funky breakbeats, ragga punkfunk, nu-skool, some tech house and beyond... Some of his favorite past performances include guest appeareances at Baby Anne's BassTuesdays at ICON, mixing live on the radio on friday nights on the Real Groove at Icon, spinning a party for Fat Harry, Monk, Bunny, Fred Durst & the Limp Bizkit boyz and the Rachel's girls, playing on the 2006 US tour with CC Rock and CtrlZ from the UK and lastly, the opportunity of throwing down encore sets for DJ Icey at Icon in Orlando closing the night twice. Fusion is still droppin' beats around the block...
