About Me

Hey there. If you're reading this, then that damn bartender's true to his word about this machine being capable of hacking East Fredricksburg's grid. I'm Bryan Swan and I run the Chrysalis Falls Vigilant from here in the basement of The Dreamtime jazz bar.
What's The Vigilant? It's the only non-filtered, news source out there, guaranteed to un-brainwash you if you're willing to listen. Here in the last human city on Earth, there's plenty of fighting going on. Between the twisted tech of the Corps, the plethora of pissed off creatures outside, the violence craving psychopaths inside, and the fairy tales come to life that seem to being wandering around, you can't afford to not know what's happening. That's why were here. Come on in, read an issue or two of The Chrysalis Falls Vigilant and you might just learn how not to get killed around here.
Furthermore, if you like what you see, I'm always willing to accept a little help hand to keep the place running. Hiding from the Corps isn't cheap. You can make donations at
if you so desire.
We also have acquired access to the Corps main marketplace netspace and are working to provide you with gear right under their noses. Just head over to www.cafepress.com/cfvigilant/ and you'll be there.
Swan Out.

My Interests

Writing, reading, reporting, not getting killed.

I'd like to meet:

Vigilantes, detectives, mercenaries, prodigies, psychics, ghosts, mute freedom fighters, imps, ghouls, werewolves, mech pilots, Errata, trolls, and just about anyone that can serve a mean cup of tea.

I also recommend visiting these individuals...

If you want to help spread the word, by all means, you can throw up a link yourself. It's appreciated, always.

Music:

Rob Zombie, Powerman 5000 (mainly the old stuff), Nick Cave, Marilyn Manson, Charlie Daniels, Deftones, Creature Feature, Jonathan Coulton, Disturbed, Cruxshadows, Dr. Steel, Tones on Tail, Concrete Blonde, Danny Elfman, and Oingo Boingo

Television:

Who's got time to watch that crap the Corps feed ya?

Books:

The sordid and sundry stories passed to me everyday through the nets; a volatile concoction of steampunk, horror, action, mystery, and general rebellion.

Heroes:

Neil Anderson, Michael Tarcynzski, Jack Lorenz, Morgan Chadwick, Eli J. Barrabas, Mr. Jonathan, Trevor, The Wrecking Crew, Gregor, Rebecca, Magistrate Nagumo, Misser Griblin, Samson, Arturo Del Pluma, Seth WarDreamer, Christoph, and The Revolver Saint.
