Bottle digging, archeology, antique collecting, flea marketing, photography, horses, have two Dalmation dogs, friends, e-bay sales and buying, ministry, writing. I am a moderator for the bottlecollectors@yahooclubs, which keeps me busy from time to time.I am involved in a few other bottle groups also. I am active on the photographic forums as well. My business is ebay sales. I am a minister, working with my ministry partner, sharing Christ and freeing people in His Name from bondages. We work nightly, six nights a week, and are into our 7th year now. We do NOT charge for our services, as this is done for and to the honour and glory of the Lord Jesus Christ.
I'd like to meet:
Bottle digging enthusiasts (of course and maybe find some locally to dig with) meet new friends, keep in contact with my family, near and far, and maybe some high school buddies and other friends I lost contact over the years. I also am thrilled to have my family make their own myspace and share back and forth this way. I always enjoy meeting those who love the Lord Jesus Christ, and maybe have some of the interests and hobbies that I do. Note: I am not a "churchy" person or a religious person and am non denominational (just a plain born again Christian!) I do not attend a church anymore but, as Jesus said, "When two or three are gathered in My Name there will I be also". Wr ARE the church (all those who believe in Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour.I am not one of those "religious nuts" who condemns this one for doing this or someone else for doing that. I have the basic notion that it is wise to "live and let live". I am not a conformist, so I have grown up and into my adulthood not being what some might call, a "team player". I am a freethinker. I am not a "clique" person, or one who is easily led into things, so in many cases, I stand alone with one or two devoted good friends who are like myself. I will not talk religion or politics if I can avoid doing so. It is a waste of time and usually causes arguments among friends. Let's just enjoy who we are, differences and all. We can agree to disagree and still remain good friends~~
Music:
Oldies from the 60's and 70's, easy listening, some country (nothing too "twangy") I never remember the names of singers or groups so to ask me my favorite would be useless.
Movies:
Horror movies. I love them--all of them, old and new. They are fun and no, I NEVER get scared!! Tear-jerker and drama movies also hold my interest as do historically based films. As for comedy, most goes over my head!
Television:
Dexter, House, Lost, Supernatural, American Idol, America's Got Talent, Hell's Kitchen, Antiques Roadshow, Kyle XY, mystery and horror movies, and some tear-jerker type movies and some history shows. Sometimes, even those Lifetime movies are decent. I HATE all sports(except horse racing) and just tolerate them for my husband's sake, in fact, he watches his shows and I watch mine.
Books:
Mystery, horror, books on the supernatural, archeological, informative history, bottle collecting, historical and antiques.
Heroes:
Jesus Christ. In my opinion, there are really no true human heroes, but of course I do respect and admire my closest friends and my children and family. Many have given their lives in wartime or for other causes, and these are to be commended for their sacrifice. Those who have fought in wars and served our country should be given their due as well and should those who built this country--the settlers and hard working class. Still, we have to remember that as human beings, we all are imperfect, and should not be looked up to or expected to be perfect. I know some look up to movie stars and other celebrities or musicians, and these people will always fail us. ONLY Jesus WILL NOT. We need to remember this and put all things into persepctive in life.
