HMMMMMM! Well I cant really say to much more than..this is just an outlet for teh songs I dont submit to my band Silent Auction.. The plan was for anything angsty to be my very own to do nothing with and everything non angsty i donate to Silent Auction..However I have recently started to imbed some angst into the composition side of my Silent Auction tracks recently to help give the band a little more of an edge and obviuosly as you can tell ......the first song isnt angsty in anyway shape or form so I gues that plan goes right out the window.. Anyway..bio..hmm lets see.. Ive been composing for approx 13 years..but I wasnt really all that compitenet untill I formed Silent Auction which is why I originally composed under the name..." Jazzy the wonder Squirell" when I was 16 as apposed to my own name... Then as I got a lil older and started recording the high school concerts for the school I proudly attended, I got more into the idea of taking what Im able to do to the next level and moved into midi sequencing on a Mac S.E useing Master trax Pro and a Yamaha PSR 500 and evetually graduated on to the 520 and and antique Protiues Sound Module... I had a blast with that for a few years well that and a few vocal toys..such as an Alesis sumthin verb...no ....not a nano verb similar idea..but much more complex and much better sounds... Shortley after this A freind of mine...Jason R and I decided to start a collab project ...we never really did that much collab however we worked on the same machine side by side and on our own and evetually decided it was time to get a real name and formed Silent Auction... Long story short..I got tired of my limitations with general midi instrumentations and discovered sound fonts and vst's ..and at first..when I heard such a thing existed I cried tears of joy... Later when I got to see how they worked...I just drank a ton of coffee and smoke many ciggeretes..pretty much that hasnt changed..except..I now have thousands of thousands of vst . dxi. rts. au. sf instruments and only enough time to dedicate my very best work to the band.. But dont think I still dont drool over my soft synths..cuz I certainly do....in fact I just got some new synths this past week..and man all I have to say is I need a towel Ive got drool on my chin.... oh yeah did I mention..The myself and the band and its members and members solo projects and many of the band we all love...swear by and use FL STUDIO Pro Edition V.6 Adobe Audition a Gazillion Soft Synths M-audio Keyboard Controllers M-Audio BX8a monitors Yamaha MG 10/2 AND 8/2FX MXL STUDIO CONDENSER MIC'S CUSTOM BUILT 2.5-3. GHZ PC WORKSTATION (A.K.A) DAW Generic pop filters Behringer Ms16 ( which for $60.00 brand new actually is a great buy..dont get me wrong Im no fan of Behringer products..but for mixing and levels..these are great monitors..they dont sound as great as T's georgous M-Audio monitors but Im poor and have to make do with what I have) shure pg 48 and 58 mics ( planning on the sm 58) dual monitors ( just so I can feel cool lol) and ofcourse...which no pc based artist should ever be without but...a big ol external hard drive to back up my work onto..... thats about that... please feel free to peep the band at www.silentpro.com
