It all started for Wooligan at the young age of thirteen when he decided to go to night school and learn electronics so that he could repair radio and televisions and follow in the foot steps of his child hood hero Dub Inventor producer extordanaire KING TUBBY to become a Sound owner and Engineer.
He built his first amplifier at the age of fourteen and by the time he had reached fifteen he had built his first sound system Jah Orthodox who over the coming years gained national respect as one of the U.ks heaviest and cleanest Roots/Steppers Sound systems. At the age of eighteen he and a group of friends enter into a recording studio for the first time not realizing it was going to be a life time passion.
Their first set of recordings was a series of roots tracks including king Step and Children of Israel which they cut on dub plates to play on the sound. He then went on to building his own recording studio starting out with a four track Studio which has know developed into a thirty-two track studio. Over the following years breaking through as a producer Wooligan produced tracks for acts such as “Boom Shakalack†Apache Indian which charted to number five in the pop chart and is featured in motion picture films such as Scooby Doo, and Dumber and Dumber, this brought him to the attention of the legendary Erskin Thompson (Sly and Robbie, Maxi Priest Loose Ends, Chaka Demus and Pliers).
Who arranged for him to work with Suggs and Sly Dunbar on a forthcoming project which sadly was never completed. After some studio transformation now known as the Mindsearchers Studios Wooligan launched his own record label
Wooligan Records and started to produced a host of artist from J.A, U.S and the U.K Including Linval Thompson, Admiral Tibbet, Al Campbell, Jimmy Reily Sammy Levi, Vivian Jones and Peter Spences “Mr Charmer†for a New York Producer by the name of Tony madman English who he met through Terence aka Yardman who we sadly lost on the 9/12/2006.
Still continuing his works Wooligan is now producing some of Jamaicas Top Reggae artist including Luciano,Turblance. Macka Diamond, Admiral Tibbet and CollieWeed, other forthcoming productions under his Cosmic Twinz Production company with life time brethren Paul “Nash†Anthony includes artist such as Morgan Heritage, Sizzla, Elephant Man,
Vybez Kartel, Mr Vegas and Tenna Star.

Although engineer and pioneer of the Livewire Sound System, Wooligan has finally found his true home. through Jah Voice Sound system, a place to put his skills to good use. Whether a senior techinican or as a producer for his legendary dubs, its Jah Voice Sound System he has know chosen to represent.
