Most anything Shakespeare like "Titus" and "Othello" I like movies that I can put on and turn the sound down like "5th Element" "Baraka" I'm starting to get a flair for the power of documentaries like "Super Size Me" and "Bowling for Columbine" Then there are the movies that stay with me "City of God" "Maria Full of Grace" "Million Dollar Baby" "Angels in America" "Brazil" "Hotel Rwanda" and "Ray" too many other movies to mention -- i love them all
'General Hospital' (my only soap opera weakness). The Simpsons and the Boondocks should be mandatory for every American to watch. There is also great stuff on Grey's Anatomy, Heroes (my favorite new show), South Park, and the Colbert Report. Other than that........watch less TV: go to the theater!!
The Art of Happiness; The Alchemist; Celestine Prophecy; To Be Young, Gifted and Black; and lots and lots of plays - that's what I've been reading
