Samson and Sejour is an American/ hiphop group from Brooklyn {SEJOUR} & Queens {SAMSON} Newyork. Active from birth, they rap about the hard times in there communities fused with delicate melodies and honest lyrics. There is nothing like taking on big issues, and that's exactly what they do with there music. Samson was raised in Southside Queens and won several rap competitions including Video Music Box in the late 90's. Sejour made some serious music contacts coming up in hiphop world. They decided to join forces to form a group because they shared the same passion in music and most importantly REAL RECOGNIZE REAL. They are working with Grammy Winning Artist Miri Ben-Ari The Hiphop Violinist who is Co Producing the album. More notable producers involved in this highly anticpated project are Mark Ronson and Todd Terry. Some of there influences are Hiphop Greats form the 90's era. There music reminds people of the early 90's fused with today's Pop music. They are not the next Big Thing, they have already arrived. They will be remembered as one of the prominent acts in East Coast Hiphop. There music reflects the real struggle they face everyday. Samson losing his mother to Cancer recently and Sejour losing his Father to a heart attack inspires both artists to create an album that inspires others.
