INWARD

Up to now, what humanity took seriously are even not realities, but only mere chimera or, strictly speaking, lies, born from nasty instincts of sick natures, which are harmful: all these notions of God, soul, virtue, sin, truth and life eternal. But we looked for the grander of human nature in them, as for its divine side. All these questions of politics, social organisation and education, were basically fooled by the fact that we took the most harmful men for the greatest ones, men who were taught to despise the small things, I mean the primary conditions of life itself.FWN
