This group was first put together as a project. It started off as an idea by putting the best young talent of different background and ages together and formed one crew with a unique, versatile style of flow and writing skills. We released the group’s first track called ‘the best’ with the intention of seeing the type of audience they would attract and as we thought the result was that they had attract a fair amount of fans from their own age group and more. This was encouraging to hear for the group, as they were still only at the beginning of something new and were on the brink of releasing their next track ‘more bars’. After this the next step was selecting the best from the rest. This was the final stage for deciding who would be moving from Courageous to Boss the Family in the final formation of the group. Once the members were selected the chapter to a new era began...Maintain your self was the first track released under the new management of Boss the Family. At this point they decided on the new name that would be the face of BossFam this was Junior Assassins, A.K.A. J.A. The group consisted of five MC’s; they were Degree, Spikes, K.I.Dizzle, Kid Muscle and T – Rex. It seemed the boys were unstoppable, with their new found fame giving them a boost, however the managers of the group felt there was still something missing and along came the new recruits. Now the group had a new rapper J.W. and two more MC’s Python and Sabotage. The new boys added a certain zest to the already multi - talented group. They stayed hard at work in the studio to produce a string of new tracks such as their latest single ‘my girl’. Along side this they have done their own solo projects and collaborated with other solo artists also signed to BossFam such as the new comer T – Chris and the First Lady of BossFam Ms. Chemina Dixon. The group have also done outside collaborations with Level Jillion from the O.G.’s, the Jungstaz and other artists like the young and talented Ms Hazel and Sam B from LBX. The group are now well on their way to stardom so my only advice is…WATCH THIS SPACE.
