Am I Crying?

About Me

Pat Kelly has emerged from Philadelphia's working class suburbs to fast become one of the hottest comics in the city's comedy and music scenes. His style has been described as "hip", "edgy" and "intelligent. In between regular performances at Helium Comedy Club (www.heliumcomedy.com) where he has opened for "The Tonight Show's" Mitch Fatel (www.mitchfatel.com) and Patrice Oneal (www.patriceoneal.com), Pat can be found sharing his comedy for people who hate comedy to anyone who will listen. He has quickly developed a reputation for his willingness to perform anywhere, anytime. From seedy neighborhood bars to the city's premier original music venue (www.grapestreet.com), Pat can be seen developing his craft all over the Philadelphia area. His hard work ethic as earned him a loyal grassroots following who affectionately refer to their burly hero as "Pork Chop". He is a founding member of the TDtF (www.TDtF.net) stand-up collective who pioneered the underground comedy movement that has taken root in the local comedy scene in recent years. He has appeared at Caroline's On Broadway in New York City and at numerous clubs and colleges along the east coast and also performed as part of the 2004 U.S.O. comedy tour. In 2005 the local press began to take note of his talent which resulted in a successful 2006. He was chosen by Helium Comedy Club to be one of only 16 comics in the entire Philadelphia region to represent them in recent auditions for Comedy Central. He also opened for "Last Comic Standing's" Rich Vos (www.richvos.com) and Rev.Bob Levy (Revboblevy.com) from "The Howard Stern Show". In addition to stand-up comedy he is currently at work on a graphic novel "The Man of A Thousand Voices" collaboration with local artist Patrick Moser. Pat also has a lucrative business selling people naked pictures of their moms.
