I'd like to meet:

Anyone interesting...

Music:

Pretty varied taste in music -- I grew up playing classical music (oboe), so I have a life-long love of that genre. I listened to classic rock, 80's pop, and alternative rock until I discovered bluegrass (about 8 years ago). I now play bluegrass music professionally and listen mostly to bluegrass and progressive acoustic music. My current favorite artists include Bela Fleck, Bill Monroe, Tony Furtado, Andy Statman, the Stanley Brothers, Jerry Douglas, Sam Bush, Tony Rice, Todd Phillips, Jackstraw, Sweet Sunny South, Chatham County Line, and the Everybodyfields.

Movies:

I rarely go to movies. I used to go often. Then I worked in the movie biz for a while and didn't like what I saw, so I stopped going to the movies.

Television:

No.

Non-fiction: Education and the Significance of Life by J. Krishnamurti, Emile by J. J. Rousseau, The Collected Works of Ralph Waldo Emerson by... duh, Progress and Poverty by H.
