About Me

I am the DemonMaster, Senior Editor at DemonMinds.Com. My interests are in all things horror. If you are interested in horror writing, horror art, horror poetry, horror music, please visit DemonMinds. Our goal is to showcase new and existing horror writers, artists and poets. DemonMinds is devoted to the idea that horror is art...whether written or visual. We enjoy all types of horror expression, including those offbeat and not commercially marketable. Our site is built on ten years of blood, sweat and tears by many talented, and passionate authors, poets and artists.
Oh thou,
rational creature!
Who desires eternal life,
You have here a lesson worthy of your attention,
For the best conclusion of your mortal life,
It is called the Dance of Death;
Everyone learns to dance it.

SUMMER HOURS: The DemonMaster will only be checking myspace on Friday afternoons. The regular schedule will resume in the fall. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. If you need to contact me please e-mail: [email protected] . Of course this schedule will change if you are offering me money, blood...or tequila.

My Interests

Horror Writing, Horror Art, Horror Publishing, Horror Poetry, Music, Weightlifting, Nail Bending, Tequila, Travel, Occult Mythology (especially Tarot symbolism), Bench Pressing Brits, and my sweet mistress...The Darkness....

I'd like to meet:

People passionate about anything related to horror fiction, horror movies, dark music, horror artwork, or horror related poetry. Horror is art....the rest is just....stuff, in my opinion (I do have a few deviant tastes that aren't horror related, but we don't want to go into that right here). Anyone arrogant enough to actually put their art out for others to view is deserving of an approving smile from the DemonMaster. To those about to write---I salute you.

Music:

Zakk Wylde, Black Label Society, Stabbing Westward, Ozzy Osbourne, Metallica, Type O Negative, Def Lepard, Styx, Orgy, Otep, Godsmack, Korn, Rammstein, AC/DC, Alien Sex Fiend, Judas Priest, ELO, Alice in Chains, Queen, Zombie Girl, Eternal Tears of Sorrow, ZENO SONIC. I generally like it hard and dark; however, there are notable exceptions.

Movies:

Halloween, Halloween II, Halloween III, Halloween 4, Halloween 5, Halloween 6, Halloween H2O, Halloween Resurrection, The Thing, HellRaiser Inferno, Nightmare on Elm Street, Friday the 13th part VIII, Creep, The Grudge, Dark Water. I'm not a big fan of the slasher genre, but there are notable exceptions such as the Saw series.

Originality vs. Commonality in Horror

I ran across CS Johnson's (http://www.myspace.com/csjcsjohnson) page and was struck by one of her quotes.  I'm a bit of a bastard this morning (some would say every morning), so I'll make you loo...
