Miami's native son of the blues

About Me

Vocalist, Guitarist, and Miami native Eric Austin brings his unique and energetic show back to Florida after touring the East Coast from Key West to New York. Playing venues of all sizes and opening for acts such as John Hammond Jr., Johnny Winter, Derek Trucks, and Joan Jett. Eric is a performer with twenty years experience. His diversified repertoire includes the deepest of blues and rock and roll that can only be described as classic. Eric's strong soulful vocals, in concert with his unmistakable guitar style, pleases audiences of every generation. Eric, 39 years old, Father of a wonderful 1 and a half year old son named Evan, was born on February 29 1968 making him a Leap year Pisces to all you astrology watchers out there. I was born in Miami but spent most of the 90's in and around the Atlanta Georgia area performing with my band and doing numerous solo performances. I returned to Miami in 2003 and continued my spiritual quest. I'm looking to start recording my first all original full length album in Autumn 2007.
