FIRSTBORN MEDIA GROUP is an entertainment company specialising in music promotions, talent management and event management. We have been around for three years and our niche market is in the marketing of gospel and inspirational music, artists and events in the UK and Europe. The company is managed by David McQueen, Madeline McQueen and Trevor Williams.
We have a wide network of contacts in the gospel, rap, rock, folk, reggae and contemporary Christian music scene both here in the UK and abroad. Our simple mission is to provide "music for the soul". period.
We host various concerts and showcases around the UK for upcoming and established talent, and we also provide tour management packages for artists or bands. We will work with any artist or partners who are committed to both spiritual and professional integrity. Our aim is for artists to present a unique blend of worship and entertainment.
Our primary event SOULED OUT is a bimonthly showcase we host in London. We feature up and coming UK gospel and inspirational artists and poets. This has included acts such as The Dawn, Chan, Four Korners, Meridian Flo, Protocol, Jahaziel, Mowglee, Clinton Jordan, and poets such as Sugablack, Karl Nova, Celecia and Alan Charles. We also showcase international artists. A stellar list which has included Shea Norman, Ted Winn (from Ted and Sheri), Izzy, Keisha McFarland, Leon Timbo and Onitsha. We currently host this at Plan B in Brixton south London. Our showcase has become very popular and we already have a shortlist of artists till next October
SOUNDCHECK! is our artist development and booking agency. We work with a limited but professional clientele. We demand high standards of musicianship and professionalism from our clients, so this agency is not for the faint hearted. SOUNDCHECK not only represents vocalist but also producers, songwriters and session musicians.
