G-Force (Gods Force) was established in 1999 by Clement Oderinde, Kola Olufayo and Tobi Ashimolowo. Birthed out of the youth ministry at KICC (Kingsway International Christian Centre) based in Hackney, East London, G-Force could see first hand the needs of their peers. They began performing regularly at church events delivering a positive message extensively around the country and beyond from churches, primary schools and universities. G-Force strongly believe in giving something back to the community and challenging young people to pursue their goals and dreams as well as assisting in breaking the stereotype often associated with young people of today by authoritative figures such as teachers, police, and the general public.
All members have completed college education and are now in university studying for degrees. Although their hearts are in their music, they still believe in having something to fall back on. Using both educational and religious knowledge, they create an appealing type of Gospel music that will catch the ears of both believers and non-believers.
In December 2004, the group entered a secular competition in Hollaway called Battle of the Bands and to their surprise, they won! It shocked many people proving that gospel music is getting more respected and recognised.
