INFINITE SPACE, INFINITE GOD: Thought-provoking sci fi wtih a Catholic twist!

I am happily married to Robert Fabian, a LtCol in the Air Force who is my friend, my lover, my helpmate, and my technical advisor in my writing. We have four children, whom we homeschool for a variety of reasons but most of all because we're enjoying it right now and it works well for our family.

I write for a little extra money and because I enjoy it. I've been published in Fit Pregnancy, Parenting, and many other magazines; have worked for local and diocese newspapers; and write regularly for Hereditas and the Montana Catholic Register.

To keep sanity, however, I escape into the worlds I write. I have several universes from the Faerie/Mundane multiverse of Dragon Eye, PI--you guessed it, starring a cynical fantasy-noir dragon detective--to the near-future world in which humans have colonized the solar system and an order of Catholic nuns devoted to space search and rescue has convents from L5 to the asteroid belt. I'm finishing a trilogy about a psychic on Earth who escapes an insane asylum to the world Kanaan, where he discovers his obsessions with learning about things from fortress construction to military triage have been because they've been culling the information from his mind in order to defend their world from invaders. Once on Kanaan, however, he learns the danger is even worse--the planets are on collision course and he must stop them.

Rob and I have edited two religious SF anthologies. Infinite Space, Infinite God, our Catholic science fiction anthology, is available as e-book from Twilight Times Books, and Leaps of Faith (no longer in print,) a Christian science fiction anthology, was a finalist in both the EPPIE and Dream Realms Awards.

Predictably, I enjoy reading fantasy and SF. I am a founder and president of the Catholic Writers' Guild, teach religious education at St. Mary's Catholic Church, and generally let the housework go because I'm busy with kids and writing.
