Add to My Profile | More VideosPETER KING BAND======================================================== =============PETER KING BAND, es una banda de Rock & Roll que nace a principios de 1991, y cuya primera formación es la siguiente: PEDRO REY: Voz ERNESTO AUSIN: Contrabajo JORDI ESTAPE: Batería DIEGO ARAOZ: Guitarra En 1996 Diego es sustituido por el actual guitarrista de la banda, SALOMÓN MOLINA. La banda empieza sus primeros directos en Madrid a mediados del año 1991, y pronto empiezan a extenderse por todo el territorio nacional, llegando a tocar en los mejores festivales del momento, prueba de ello son sus actuaciones con estrellas americanas como JACK SCOTT, GENE SUMMERS, SONNY FISHER, RAY CAMPI o CARL PERKINS. Su primer larga duración lo graban a principios de 1994, y es producido por la leyenda del Rock & Roll español TONY LUZ, componente entre otros de Pekenikes, Bulldog y Perro Viejo. Un año más tarde graban su segundo disco, de nuevo producido por TONY LUZ, titulado ROCKIN’ BONES. En 1997, la estrella del Rock & Roll Americano Sleepy LaBeef, viene de gira a España y pide a PETER KING BAND, como músicos de acompañamiento, gira que repetiría en 1998 y de la cual se grabó uno de los conciertos, y que dio lugar al tercer disco de la banda titulado LIVE IN VALLE REAL, donde además también aparece la estrella del Rock & Roll Español Carlos Segarra, cantante de Los Rebeldes. A mediados del año 2001, PETER KING BAND, vuelve a los estudios de grabación con el fin de hacer algo diferente, por lo que componen sus temas y llaman a importantes artistas nacionales, para desarrollar la idea. Fruto de ello es su último trabajo discográfico titulado DR. ROCKIN’ AND MR. JIVE que ha visto la luz en Marzo de 2002, y en el que se puede apreciar la evolución de la banda a lo largo de estos años y donde además puede verse una pista multimedia que contiene un video del grupo junto a CARLOS SEGARRA (Los Rebeldes), JAVIER ANDREU (La Frontera) o JOSELE (Bulldog) entre otras cosas interesantes.=============================================== =====================PETER KING BANDIn 1991 THE PETER KING BAND broke into the scene of ROCK AND ROLL, the band was formed at the beginning by:PETER KING : Vocal ERNESTO AUSIN: Double Bass JORDI ESTAPÉ: Drums DIEGO ARAOZ: Guitar But en 1996 The Guitar player is replaced by SALOMON MOLINA who is actually with the band.They start playing in every venue of Madrid and their electrifying concerts started to be famous all around, when the band started playing all over the country and Europe in the most important Rock & Roll Festivals. They’ve played with the biggest names of Rock & Roll such as SONNY FISHER, SLEEPY LABEEF, JACK SCOTT, GENE SUMMERS, RAY CAMPI, BILLY LEE RILEY, HYDEN THOMPSON and CARL PERKINS amongst others, being hired as the band of Sleepy LaBeef in his Spanish tours.Their career reaches the top when they recorded their first album titled “GLORIA O ETERNIDAD” produced by one of the most important figures in the Spanish business, TONY LUZ.One year later PETER KING BAND gets back in the studio to record their second album, “ROCKIN’ BONES” which first single reaches the first position in the radio stations being played everywhere, the song was even included in the best Rock & Roll compilations released in Spain and some other countries. TONY LUZ was again the producer of the second record.The group started a tour around Spain and the concert made in Santander with Sleepy LaBeef and Carlos Segarra was recorded to bring the third record into the market titled “LIVE IN VALLEREAL”, in November 1998,.Now after three years, THE PETER KING BAND surprised us with a brand new record titled “DR. ROCKIN’ AND MR. JIVE” where the band shows it’s maturity and experience achieved after all these years. We can enjoy songs of different styles like Rockabilly, Swing, Rock & Roll, Country, Gospel and the most important Spanish artist of Rock & Roll have joined the band in this new project such as Carlos Segarra (LOS REBELDES vocalist), Javier Andreu (LA FRONTERA vocalist and guitar played), Josele (BULLDOG vocalist and guitar played), as well as other important musicians in the Spanish market. In this last record it’s included a multimedia track where you can appreciate the energy of the band on stage with all the friends said above that it was recorded on July 2001 in one of the most prestigious venues of Madrid, as well as the history of the group, pictures and some other interesting things.
