Lucy Love, Copenhagen’s rave-MC princess has been firing it up and performed at many misty venues and blazing raves. For the last year, Lucy Love and Yo Akim – with a mic and a groovebox – have delivered the wildest live shows.. Her smashing debut single ’No V.I.P.’ is safely making its way across the world. It is being aired on Danish radio, as well as the UK pirate radios such as Rinse FM and on local stations around the world. Look out for the video, soon on your telly. Lucy Love is currently working with producer and beat boy Yo Akim on her debut album, which is expected to drop in fall 2008. Big things!

YO AKIM / OK FORMULA
"At the age of 7, I found my dads old drumkit, in the basement of my grandparents. And somehow, I just knew how to play it, right away. I took drumlessons, but I was not ready to rehearse marsh-roll, paradidls or drumnotes. No, the way for me at that time was: putting on a vinyl on my stereo, turn up loud, and then play for hours."
During his over 30 years of drumming, DJ-ing, producing, programming and composing, Yo Akim a.k.a. OK Formula has been working with numberless of extraordinary artists. Yo Akim is a man with a bunch of exiting things going. Right now, you might find him in the studio working on an album with Lucy Love or creating garage/dubstep/reggae or composing theatre music or ripping up some club with his records or groovebox.

ILLINTON
Illinton aka Bebob Dawg aka Lasse Jensen has a long list of memorable productions and remixes in various genres behind him. He helped Peshay with writing and producing the outstanding album “Miles from Home”....
Already at the age of 17 he contributed to the famous Danish rave anthem "Kaos" with Dr. Baker (1989). Since then, Illinton has worked with a wide-range of artists, such as Gary Dourdan (CSI), Karsh Kale, Darren from Kosheen and Queen Latifah – to name a few. He has released tracks and remixes on a huge list of CD’s and 12”s on labels like HoojChoons, Bedrock, 541, Choice, Bigbeat, Eightball, Caoz, Dynamite joint, Fatal tracks, M1, Desire, Arista, Tommy Boy, Invincis, Zoo, UCMG, Airtight, Tide, NamNam etc.

THERMAL
Thermal, aka Åsmund Mæland, is living in a mountain town called Bergen on the west-coast of Norway. He began playing classical music at the age of ten, and when fourteen he discovered the pleasures of electronic music. His d’n’b style is a mixed breed and a melting pot of inspiration from many different genres - breakbeat, trance, hiphop, reggae, basically anything he’ll find interesting. He is a huge fan of contrasts, and will easily stick a filthy bass line under an otherwise smooth track, or throw some chilled out jazz keys over a nasty background. Thermal’s intention is to make music you can listen to again and again, discovering new details and layers. Most of his tracks are for the club, but are still complex enough to stand the test of repeated home listening.
