Im Attila, not the boxer, nor the leader of the huns who plundered villages and stole women. I was born and raised in southern Sweden, Malmo to be exact. Still roaming the southern grass, concrete and metal, my life nowadays is pretty much about drum n bass every day. Musically it satisfy my needs in wichever mood Im in.
As many heads from the drum n bass culture I was totally into Hip Hop until a few years ago. Fortunately I bought a Jungle compilation record in my early days so I always had the jungle in my backhead. kept digging in the jungleworld for a while and soon my Good Looking period came, it introduced me to the atmospheric/liquid sound and I really felt the rolling groove wich really was my start in listening to drum n bass. It kinda switched from hiphop when I got my hands on a knowledge mix cd featuring tracks from the beginning of Gain records, I soon heard Source direct - Call n Response in the movie Blade and that was it.. the hard and futuristic sound wich had a satisfying depth to it really spoke the language I was about to learn.
Member of Southern Connection collective and resident with my friend Moonbass at Panora for the Big Bad Bass club in malmo, the primary drum n bass club in town where I actually, and ironically went to for my first drum n bass gig to experience.
