I'm so goth that it hurts

About Me

I'm a pretty wacky person. I run a boutique integrated marketing agency that has been around for over 9 years. That pretty much sucks up all my time.

The free time I have left is dedicated to my band, Rachael's Surrender, which has been around for over 15 years. We are now in the process of working on our 4th CD.

I'm in a poly relationship with the love of my life, Bantrobel. We have been together for over 5 years. And a long and amazing 5 years it has been. I'm always amaze at how much work a poly relationship takes.

Lately I have been interested in Shibari - the sensual Japanese art of rope bondage. I'm looking for female models to help work on my rope and suspension technique. Interested? Ping me. Make sure you know what it entails before volunteering. I also assist in planning Shibaricon - the very first Shibari convention in the US. We finished the 3rd year of the convention and planning the 4th.

My Interests

shibari, japanese bondage, music composition, American political system, books (mostly sci-fi), collecting animation cels, the goth / ebm / industrial / electro-clash scene

I'd like to meet:

Musicians and composers, especially those working in the electronic, synthpop genre. If you are playing in Chicago, let me know. I'll try to show up to check you out (assuming that I have the time, that is). it would really help if you have some kind of review on The Chicago Reader because I have a habit of checking out their recommendations and going to shows on a whim.

People interested in Shibari. People who are riggers and have a sense of style and beauty. Females who are willing to volunteer to be models.

Music:

Old Skol: NiN, L&R, DM, Peter Murphy, Moby.

Old Old Skol: Bach (Brandenburg Concertos), Beethoven (sonatas), Haydn (symphonies)

New Skol: Ladytron, Fischerspooner, ATB, Lasgo

Movies:

surrealistic movies: brazil, dark city, city of lost children,

sci-fi movies: bladerunner, matrix, film noir stuff.

Rachael's.Surrender is back from our amazing "Don't Have Any Money for Bail" Tour.

OK, we are back from our mini tour. Everything went great (except I got a speeding ticket which I think the cop is hinting that I should just plead not guilty). But anyway.. more news later.
