About Me

According to Oxford Concise Medical Dictionary...
NAIL n. a horny structure,... The exposed part of the nail is the body...
According to Oxford Dictionary...
GIRL n. female child, young woman, regular companion with whom one may or may not be in love...

Oh well.....

My definition of Nailgirl is a girl that loves McD's fries and hash browns (no good), cries almost over everything (no good), smiles silly all the time (no good), buys every single item of MAC (YES!)... and yeah she loves to be SPOILED and respected. If sassiness of the girl in the movie My Sassy Girl is level 10, Nailgirl's will be level 9.

From http://www.kabalarians.com : Your name of Fifi gives you a very happy-go-lucky, spontaneous nature (uh huh...) . You see the humorous side of many situations and can laugh at yourself as well as at others (true...) . This name gives you a musical, artistic nature and you would do well in any occupation in the entertainment field (isn't that what I'm doing?) . You have many friends because of your generous, happy nature, but if crossed you have a quick temper, although your annoyance does not last too long (mind that, it's real true) . You do enjoy an argument and will at times say things just to get others going and then you sit back and enjoy the debate (my bf, exes, and mum especially, would all agree) . You lack system and order and find it very difficult to budget and save money (my mum and bf tried so hard to get me out of that, yet haven't been quite successful) . This name creates a nature that can be the life of the party, but many times you can become involved in emotional situations against your better judgment. Your compassionate nature causes you to be too generous and you often give more than you can afford to ( my close friends would all know it's true) .

Back in uni I was studying tourism mgt., flipping Kevyn Aucoin's Making Faces everyday, even during exams...the first job was project executive in a conference consultancy company, when I got off work I'd dash off to the nail salon, then I was a trn and mkt officer in a beauty/skin care brand...one day I quit (because they refused my annual leave application 3 times!!!), sitting at home one day and told myself that I gotta do something. So I signed up a makeup course, and here I am...Today, I'm a makeup artist, nail tech trainer, photographer, fashion design student, stylist, beauty business consultant, graphic designer, copy writer, hand/nail model, 24-hr helper to my friends, 24-hr query hotline host to my students, driver and loving daughter of my mum, a no-meat, no-fish, yes-dairy, yes-egg vegetarian for 12 years (and still going)....

Life has been treating me right, have long well-known as "the lucky girl". But what people didn't really know was that there're always responsibilities (or what we call troubles most of the time) and it's proportionate to what you own and enjoy.

My Interests

Photography, makeup, nail technology and art, fashion, jewellery, cars, music, movies, dining out, meeting new people, high heels, dreaming, imagining.

I'd like to meet:

Wise ones like Buddha (smart ain't good enough). I wanna hear all His answers to my "why's that... ?" "why's that...?" "why's that...?". Every time I visited a temple, looked up and saw His face, I would drop tears right the way. Don't ask me why, but I guess I wanna be around someone who, without having to say a word, understands all the "why's" in me.

Music:

Pop, hip hop, R & B, Jazz.
