Originally classically trained, schooled in jazz, both academically and privately, and later graduating from Dartington College of Performing arts, my most rewarding personal achievements have been through investigations into music and its place within contemporary culture. The highlights of which have been living with the Manouche gypsies in Southern France, performing with professional flamenco guitarists and dancers in the 'Carboneria' the very heart of Sevillian Flamenco, studying Indian flute/music in Varanase, India and with various groups throughout the years both as a performer and band leader. I am currently involved with contemporary live composition, combining live sampled instrumentation and electronic music.
