I was born into this world with cursed vision, spending the first 2 years of my life in a blurry paradise until all became clear at the age of 3 due to magic. Reality set in at the age of six when the first "four eyes" insult was thrown at me in infants school. The harsh realisation of being a "speccy" caused my insides to topple, sending me spinning into a pit of despair for oh, 10 mins until i realised that i did not give a fuck.
Since then its all been about music in some way or another, from the heady days of cassette-based casio keyboard fun to the modern complexities of electronic music production. Music production was taken seriously in high school being a part of many nirvana-covering shitbag bands playing bass and drums, while at home seeking my own paths in experimenting with sound.
Callisto, my first project spawned from a cash-converters purchased Casio monster was my first truly melodical experience with music and the love grew from here. Maximality, then Chokai followed at the point when what i was using was becoming too obsolete, and un-controllable. Heavy debt followed with the purchase of some serious music making gizmos.
Ever since, Chokai being born, being signed to 3Bass records and 4 albums later im still experimenting and am part-owner of Artificial Bliss recordings for which Chokai was signed 1 year ago.
The great thing is, after one year Artificial Bliss is on the up, and when working in an industry where 80% of new record labels fail within one year thats a pretty large atcheivement.
Life at home, im married, loving it and enjoying lifes up and downs just like anyone else, and just like danish plastic building blocks, every little peice will in time create a perfect whole. Well, a crappy plastic castle anyways.
