Hi, I am Harley...wow...what a journey life has been so far...if you had told me 25 years ago all the things that would happen, lol, I don't know if I would have made it or not!
Truly, our life here is the 'journey' not the 'destination'...I started to write a bunch of cliche junk about myself on here, but there is a survey at the bottom, that will probably tell you more than I would here...
I have lived a small but extraordinary life to put it mildly...I don't think you could shock me by anything anymore...and I am thankful for each and every situation or circumstance, good or bad, that has come my way...because that is how we learn about ourselves, our world...
A few of the things that I have learned are: You can never, ever, judge someone else...you don't know what is going on with that other person...you may not agree with others...but you have to respect their right to be different from you...cherish every moment that you have with the people you love, you may not get another chance...you may have been hurt in love or betrayed by a friend, but never let that stop you from loving and trusting again, just be a little wiser the next time around...because life without loving is pretty lonely...I also learned to never say never, because you don't really know how you would react in real situations...try to see the beauty around you, it is there, you just have to look...do what you can to help your sisters and brothers around the world, together we can make a difference...
I have been especially blessed to have friends who didn't always agree with me to keep from hurting my feelings, and I am so thankful for their honesty to me...better a rebuke from a friend...than a kiss from your enemy...I don't need friends who are afraid to tell me the truth to spare my feelings, because I can never trust them...it took me years to learn that, but after getting hit upside the head a few times, I learned...
If we never step out and try things, we are not really living...yes, sometimes it's scary, and yeah, sometimes we fall flat on our faces...but those few moments that we are successful are worth it all...we learn in the valleys of life...we celebrate on the mountaintops...
I love making new friends from everywhere...I have learned so much from people from other cultures...it expands your views on our world, and we could all use a little more of that...
And last, but not least...if we all worked a little harder at loving each other, and looking for solutions to the problems our world faces, we might actually have a chance to turn this old world around...don't be a sheep...when you see something wrong, shout it to the rooftops!!! Have a voice and don't be afraid to use it...together we can change things...

What can I possibly say about Willie to really convey how I feel about him...I have always loved his music, but there is so much more there than the music...Willie is a WONDERFUL person, who gives not only his music, but himself to the world...he is continually trying to help someone or some really worthy cause!!! I have had the pleasure to see him in concert twice now, once with Lee Ann Womack, and the other with Bob Dylan, both times were awesome!!! We LOVE YOU AND THANK YOU Willie for all that you do...

Save Darfur:

As you read this, over 3 million people in Darfur, Sudan are crammed together in concentration camps, dying of disease and hunger, while government sponsored troops slaughter civilians, use rape to destroy group unity, and shoot children for sport.
400,000 men, women, and children are already dead. Entire races have been exterminated by the Sudanese government's campaign of ethnic cleansing.

Take action at action.defenders.org/myspacewolves

"In the end, we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends. " Martin Luther King Jr.

"Action is the antidote to despair." - Joan Baez

Silence, they say, is the voice of complicity.
But silence is impossible.
Silence screams.
Silence is a message,
Just as doing nothing is an act.
Let who you are ring out & resonate
In every word & every deed.
Yes, become who you are.
There's no sidestepping your own being
Or your own responsibility.
What you do is who you are.
You are your own comeuppance.
You become your own message.
You are the message.
