Feeling great to know that I am able to contribute to this musical building. The foundation is already been constructed, The additions are well on the way. Started out with just listening and moving to the grove of a rhythm, allowed me to know then, that this is what I wanted to do.
Wait a moment I mumbled to myself. I am unable to play these types of instruments, So how on earth will I be able to build upon the already constructed building?. Look around and there I saw children running behind an old tire which is their toys or an empty tin can that is used for a drum, fish line that is tied up on a piece of bamboo to give you a guitar effect, beads in a jar which we called shaker shaker and finally a few of the same children hanging around wanting to take part in this quest we call music. Oh only if I could help.It has changed, now there are computers, Technicians, Writers and Programmers to help us with the once impossible task of building on the foundation set years ago, or let me say childhood. I create my music on my own with a special vibe. I write and compose the same way. When the time comes for the desert, meaning singing or chanting the lyrics, I think I will enjoy it more than now. I enjoy creating from scratch and being able to do so by ear is even sweeter. My ultimate goal is to do this because I love and enjoy it very much. I hope there will be more goodies to be build on this foundation.Where the art fits in is very comfortable. Brushes, colors, canvas, water, masking tape, pallets, imagination, easel, and music, Now we get creative. With classical and Jazz tunes, Thanks especially to CBC Radio Canada for their continued fix of great music. I paint the ideas that flows from my mind all day. The funny thing is while Mozart is on and a cup of coffee or two maybe four by afternoon arrives, Colors help the project raise from the lower level. Bare with me while I search for words to write lol.
