VJ Oxyodo

Pedro Lopes, also known as VJ Oxyodo is one of the new revelations of the Portuguese vjing. With only 22 years of age and only begun his career in 2003, has been a constant presence in several parties. Through this last couple of years his been showing out his work, with a unique visual concept for each event he participates. Is influences come from various concepts, such as, photography, design, motion graphics and quotidian. He is also a constant presence at the Sunday Stations and events at Café do Teatro. Oxyodo has performed along to several dj's like: John Digweed, DJ Cue, Jimmy Van M, DJ Vibe, Swayzak, Dirt Crew, Steve Porter, Phonique, Akufen, Luca Ricci, Peter Bailey, Luke Solomon, Sasse aka Freestyle Man, Ariel Cybana, Del Costa & Pedro Goya, Jesus del Campo, A.Paul, Carlos Fauvrelle, Frank Maurel, Full Metal Funk, Freshkitos, and others. Also performed in several indoor and outdoor events such as Fresh Chapters, Re.Fresh, Echoes, Madeira Paradise Dance II, RockinRio Lisboa 2004, Aqua Beats, Techno Outdoor Vision, Zenith Party, Número Projecta 2006 and many more. It also had some performances with the project videomorphose.com where he was the invited vj. Recently is more connected to conceptual and experimental photography, this artist made a photo session for the new project from Madeira, Deep Mood (Victor C and Mauro K).
