About Me

Some are called, and they never come. Some never get called, but they find a way. A-sky doesn't know the difference. She's simply a Chicago born and raised vinyl lover with a multiple personality disorder run amuck.The front woman is a philosopher trying to translate all the voices in her head to any media that fits the moment. She is a poet, an emcee, a DJ, a playwright, a comedienne, a designer, a chef of all sauces. The 45 lovers are the cohorts, the producers, the features, the deejays, the fans, the groupies, anybody who chooses to join the caravan as the music gets made, the clothes get worn, the words get written, and the audience gets aroused.A-sky won't promise you happy music, but there is definitely going to be pleasure and provocative thinking.She currently resides in Brooklyn.
