POSTHUMAN TANTRA is a sci-fi ambient industrial soundtrack to the "Posthuman Aurora" – a visionary brave new world based in mix between DNA & SYLICON, with a new kind of creatures that will mixture human, animals, vegetables and machines. The first oficial POSTHUMAN TANTRA´s album – "Neocortex Plug-in" - was released in 2007 by the european label Legatus Records.The POSTHUMAN TANTRA music are influenced by the ideas of the masters R.A.W., Blavatsky, Terence McKenna, A.O.Spare, Gurdjieff, John C. Lilly, Giordano Bruno, John dee, Rupert Sheldrake, Ken Wilber, P.K.Dick, Crowley, Francisco de Assis, Buckminster Fuller, Grof, Vernon Vinge, Hans Moravec, Ray Kurzweil & Lovelock. And the creations of the posthuman artists:Orlan, H. R. Giger, Mark Pauline, Natasha Vita More, Stelarc, Roy Ascott, Eduardo Kac, David Cronenberg, Caza, Gazy Andraus & some aspects of Chaos Magick, Extropy, Transhumanism & Immortalism.Edgar Franco – the man behind the project - is architect, master in multimedia and PhD in Fine Arts at USP (University of São Paulo - Brazil).
