THE SHOUT OUT LOUDS JOIN LONGEST MILE RECORDS

Shout Out Louds – Tonight I Have To Leave It b/w Time Left For Love Limited Edition 7’’ Vinyl and Download Only Available From October 22nd 2007 on Longest Mile Records

Monday October 22nd 2007 sees Stockholm’s The Shout Out Louds open their Longest Mile account with ‘Tonight I have To Leave It’ – the first UK single release from their forthcoming Second album - ‘Our Ill Wills’. The album is already available in Scandinavia, where it has achieved enormous success, seeing the band grace the Swedish Top Ten album chart. It will also be released on September 11th in the US via Merge Records – home to Arcade Fire, Spoon and others.

Produced by Bjorn Yttling (of ‘Peter, Bjorn and John’ fame,) ‘Tonight I Have To Leave It’ recalls some of The Cure’s finest pop moments and manages to be an emotional pop-song without pushing the usual buttons toward dreariness or earnestness that bogs down a lot of their peers.

The last few years have seen The Shout Out Louds handpicked by the likes of The Strokes, The Magic Numbers, Kings of Leon and The Futureheads as the perfect tour-partners, and surely, with the release of ‘Tonight I Have To Leave It’, all their good work on the road will pay huge dividends with the loyal fanbase that the band have built up in the UK.
