About Me

No Dramas started gigging in June 2007 and won a battle of the bands round at their 2nd gig...Then recorded 2 tracks titled: "Pirates" & "Fighting off the soldiers". Due to great recording quality of these tracks, they were reviewed in national music magazine NME & local paper The Evening Chronicle... The Track "Pirates" is due to be released by Petrol Records worldwide on a compilation titled "Violently Happy" on November 2007. Petrol Records have a partnership with E.M.I records & the last compilation they released reached into the top 10 in the I-tunes charts...No Dramas will also feature on a local music documentary to be released on DVD which is titled "Once upon a time in the north"... No Dramas have done over 25 gigs this year and hope to do some more and also record some more tracks.

Sounds Like: "NO DRAMAS are a raucous indie monster of a band bouncing out pop like The Maccabees with a sense of social injustice, or The Enemy with a Cribs album on their stereo. Flitting from featherlight guitars to terrace choruses, they're as entertaining as watching a sped-up montage of men in stripey tops downing beers and pushing their landlord in a canal. Which frankly sound like heaven, so sign us up" NME
