Greg Alan was born into a musical family where keyboards, guitars and singing in harmony were a way of life. To see Greg come alive on stage singing, leaves no doubt in your mind that he is a natural talent. This is what he was born to do. Greg grew up in rural Alabama raised on a mix of Southern Rock and Classic Country. As a kid he listened to anything and everything he could get his hands on, sitting up late at night listening to Lynyrd Skynyrd, Hank Williams Jr., Molly Hatchet, the Eagles, and of course.. Alabama. Greg picked up a guitar and started playing the honky tonks and bars around his hometown. He quickly realized this was the life for him. He learned the magic that you create with a guitar and a good song. Bringing the audience on a journey and helping them to see the song through your eyes. Greg’s journey finally brought him to Nashville where he recorded his debut album with Chris Severe of Severe Productions. Chris and Greg put together an album that is rocks as much as it honky tonks. When it came time to get the band together, Greg pulled together some of the best musicians out there. The Hitchhikers (as they are affectionately called) are made up of Nashville studio players, and touring pros who have been a part of other hit groups like Bering Strait and Sixpence None the Richer. With several US and World tours between the guys and tons of studio work, they provide Greg with the killer live show that takes the songs over the top and brings the audience into a world created with music and lyrics. With a blockbuster debut album and an energy fueled live show, Greg is poised to take the world by storm, one radio station… one honky tonk, one fan at a time.
