How many times in your life will you find "the one" ?
ONCE
It won an Oscar Best Song 08
I’m not a big movie goer, but here are a few of the ones I can watch over & over:
Peter Pan! the animated one and the musical & Finding Neverland; but the animated Disney one formed so many of my fantasies & dreams that I still have today & I love to sing along to - “you can fly, you can fly, you can fly!â€.
Oscar ("Mr. Provalone, your daughter has the most lovely double dipthongs..."), To Kill a Mockingbird. Dr. Strangelove (“stop it stop it, you can’t fight in here this is the War Room!â€), Naploeon Dynamite, yeeesssss. Boogie Nights, When Harry Meet Sally (love Rob Reiner films) Raising Arizona- the soundtrack was an absolute gas.
Speaking of soundtracks, the soundtrack to Road to Perdition was sublimely beautiful, just as beautiful as the cinematography. I first realized how much the soundtrack effects a film when I watched the Third Man. I can watch the opening credits over & over just to watch & hear those vibrating zither strings!
Splendor in the Grass… hearing Natalie Wood recite the Wordsworth poem at end of the movie gets me everytime.
Any Selma Heyak, John Cusack, Cate Blanchett or Johnny Depp movie.
I love independent films & off & on belong to local independent film societies & groups.

I really enjoy biographies, I like the way Frank McCort writes & I have to read every Gregory Maguire book. They are like AS Byatt novels, only very lively. I don’t read as much as I’d like but I have been known to indulge in chick lit.
now for a little Chris Botti-
"I'm just not the best at making decisions. Or am I?" Father Doyle
