People who are warm, humorous, honest, creative, enthusiastic, thoughtful… Well, everything I’m not, really!I haven’t joined MySpace as some form of obsessive compulsive popularity contest; I really would like to simply make a few genuine friends, from different parts of the world, thanks to the gift of this extraordinary medium. However, I’m also aware that some potential visitors to this page might do so to simply listen to the music and/or view the photography – as opposed to wishing to bore themselves rigid exchanging pleasantries with me directly. So, if that's you, please let me know, rather than just resorting to anonymously whacking the 'Add Friend' button with a mallet. It’s my prevailing ambition to keep the number of friends on this page below a manageable three figures. This means there will be an inevitable periodic culling; think of yourself as a harp seal pup on the Canadian ice flows. It’s my intention to only club the weak, dull and seemingly distant. [A policy that could be adopted in our high schools.] “All part of the intelligent, conservative approach to the conservation of my space environment.†[Source: Canadian Minister of Fisheries and Oceans.]
Humanity trying its utmost to disappoint [and/or Wot humanely, clearly, dispatching another friend]Friends will also likely be culled for sending too many images of sparkly dolphins riding unicorns coupled with trite platitudes urging me to have a lovely [insert random day of the week here]. Clubbing to death under these circumstances would arguably be too kind.Should you wake up one day to find my ship has sailed and you’ve been left battered and bleeding on the ice, simply write and ask to be added back as a friend - you’ll have gained considerable additional kudos for actually noticing the absence. We can then discuss the relative merits of our friendship. If your injuries aren’t too severe we’ll sail into the sunset together. Or I’ll make you into a nice hat.........................................................
.....................................................Music often possesses the simple, innate beauty of being able to lift the mood and set the spirit free. This is Kumi, a blind Tibetan student. I defy anyone not to be moved by the passion within this short performance, and witness his confidence and pleasure growing as it progresses. [Oh, and you've got to love the bit where he takes a gulp of air at just the wrong moment. :)] Enjoy...
