FuZe aka Menelaos FytilisHe was born in Thessaloniki, Greece in 1985.
His love for music was first manifested in his decision to learn to play the piano at the age of ten. Six years later he had to stop to prepare for the University entry exams. He is now in his final year at the Aristole University of Thessaloniki, studying Economics.Menelaos started djing at school and his friends’ parties at home. He soon discovered that the idea of “amazing†people with his music made him feel great. With no second thoughts he bought two turntables and a mixer (the cheapest one he could find) and, without any help, started learning how to mix two tracks.Now, after four years of professional djing around town, he has played in most bars and clubs in or around Thessaloniki. Occasionally he is invited to play in other cities. In the summer months he plays in Halkidiki. He has worked in some of the best-known clubs and beach bars there, including “Dogs D’Amourâ€, "Lido", "Decadence" and “Totem A La Playa,†where he has been resident dj since the summer of 2006. His studies in winter do not allow him to further his djing career. We all hope he will finish soon.As an active friend of MZM group, he has taken part in a lot of events with them. They are the people who supported him in his first steps.His music style is not fixed. It depends on the mood and the occasion. He likes playing everything that sounds great to his ears. The combination of house, minimal-tech, progressive basslines and disco elements can be truly amazing. So, every set always hides surprises.In the field of production he is now taking his first steps. He is learning to synthesize using Cubase and Korg Triton Extreme. Nothing worth mentioning so far but we all have great expectations!
