HotFreeLayoutsI'm a writer for a living, but anytime I'm asked to compose a little something about myself, I completely draw a blank. Let's see, for those of you who don't know me, I work for Oxygen---the best women's fitness mag out there. www.oxygenmag.com I'd like to say I spend my time living the Oxygen lifestyle--eating clean and diligently training. But for those of you who DO know me, know that's not the case. But seriously, I do try to eat really well, at least during business hours, and I'm usually pretty good about hitting the gym 4-5 days a week. I've always loved magazines. I got my start in beauty writing, and have had the good fortune of taking on the fashion, beauty, health & nutrition sections of Oxygen.

My Interests

Spending time with friends and family is always my first choice. I also can't pass up a trip to the mall. Shopping is a little obsession of mine--especially jeans. I enjoy a cozy night in renting movies, or getting dolled up and heading out for dinner and drinks.

I'd like to meet:

I'm interested in meeting people who have a serious interest in fitness. I'm always looking for fresh faces and ideas for the magazine.

Music:

Pretty much anything, but my first choice is always R&B.

Movies:

I'll watch anything except Sci-Fi and Horror movies. Recently laughed my buns off at Borat. I think the all-time funniest movie is Dumb and Dumber, and I hate to admit it, by my favorite movies are Knotting Hill and Love Actually. There's just something about dry, British humor.

Television:

My latest discovery is Grey's Anatomy. I haven't made it through an episode yet without bawling. I also love any kind of detective/forensic show. And of course I'll catch a good old Sex and the City rerun whenever I can.

Books:

Biographies, dramas, chicklit. You name it, I'll read it. Although I recently only made it halfway through Grapes of Wrath before it had to be returned to the library.

Heroes:

Mom, dad, Lindsay & Colin of course.
