2D Anti-Productions is all about unity. My goal is to unify the fragmented music scene here in San Jose and the bay area. I've been very lucky to find so many people willing to help. But unification is never easy and it takes a lot of people to do it.....everyone in the world in fact!! But I'll settle for just musicians, artists, other promoters, club owners, anyone that can has a backyard big enough for a band to play in.....and so on and so on. Also, anyone who thinks they can help or has some sort of contribution to make to the cause (non monetary of course!). Although I am a 'promoter' and I've heard that they're supposed to make money....right now I'm still living off money I saved from working in Detroit and Canada and I don't expect to make anything doing this. At least not yet. The day I believe that I deserve it is the day that I'll start charging a percentage for booking. And as long as fights are stilling happening and the same bands are playing at the same clubs week after week. New and amazing bands are stuck playing in their garages because they're too busy working at dumb jobs, and playing music to book to their own shows...as long as this is still going on, I don't deserve a dime. Basically, 2D Anti-Productions believes in unity, non-exploitation, and just plain helping out your fellow man. Artists are all family! Not competition! So join the family and send us your input!!
