About Me

The tim thatcher band started in a garden shed on a farm, after the mother of three country boys bought a red, second hand bicycle from the local flea market. That same day the first song was written. With singer /song writer tim thatcher on guitar, bass simulator, human beat box, and vocals, he creates a melodious interweaving of contemporary folk and modern day pop that is as simple and unassuming as the first time you learnt to roll down a hill on two wheels. After winning Listeners Choice at the Newcastle Music Awards in 2005 under the band name pushbike, tim thatcher noteriety is beginning to grow
