Tapas: Pequeñas cantidades de alimentos sonoros que se degustan como aperitivo auditivo o comida informal; suelen tomarse como acompañamiento de una bebida en un establecimiento público
Tapas Records se esta cocinando en la ciudad de Colonia (Alemania), por dos gourmets españoles tan internacionales como el pincho de tortilla o el jamón serrano, Emill de Moreu y Logannn!.
Estos canarios combinaran en su cocina, un surtido elenco de fabulosos y conocidos maestros cocineros y chefs amateur con talento de sobra para poner su trabajo sobre el mantel, que sorprenderán a los oidos mas exquisitos,con deliciosas miniraciones de electronica de baile de vanguardia.
Tras el exito entre nuestros comensales de nuestra primera Tapa, nos atrevemos con un cocinero completamente desconocido en la escena internacional, nuestro amigo Ruyman Mas, que nos presenta dos platos tipicos tech house de la gastronomia canaria, Tierra y Lo que viene siendo, ambos incluidos en Tierra E.P., que esta ya disponible en digital, los puedes escuchar y compar en el reproductor de Beatport que tenemos en este profile.
Nuestro proximo plato digital nos lo traerá otro buen amigo canario Hugo Cipres, un nuevo trabajo desbordante de calidad llamado Deep on. Tras trabajar codo con codo con artistas como Nick y Dany Chatelain o Coco Silco, Hugo sacará próximamente su propio sello discográfico al que bautizará como "inaBEATable", sus trabajos tienen un paricular sonido, dirigido a la pista, muy efectivo y con toques de autentico Chef!.
Estará muy pronto disponible en formato digital, estad atentos a la cocina!
Por otro lado, como os habreis dado cuenta, ya tenemos colgados en nuestro Myspace, dos de los tres tracks que componen el menu de nuestra segunda referencia en vinilo, que viene a manos de un experto en cocina rapida, pero que para esta ocasion cambia de nombre y de estilo, uno de los componentes de Groove Rebels.
AMIR, nos plantea dos platos exquisitos, el primero de ellos llamado Tummy Tones, es de facil digestion, muy bailable
y con un sabor muy peculiar, y otro de ellos que recomendamos como starter, antes de una comida copiosa de electronica bailable, titulado Elastic Body, hasta la salida al mercado de nuestra proxima tapita, os dejamos una buena muestra para que mateis el gusanillo.

Tapas recordings is a new label based in Cologne, managed by two dj,s and producers from the Canary Islands, Emill de Moreu and Logannn! that after have been moving around places for a long time decided to settle down themselves in Cologne and Tenerife respectively, connecting the emerging canarian scene with the experience of Germany one, to make a fresh and quality record label.
The first objective is to rise new artists from the Canary Islands like Sebastian Roya (Connaisseur), Tactik (Bcn rec) ,Hugo Cipres (inaBEATable & Codigo rec), Alex Medina (Meerestief), Meerblick (Tapas) or Ruyman Mas (Tapas), and to push every release with already established names in the Music industry like, Sian, Amir, Monoroom, Jamie Anderson and more for welcome.
We are always looking for new sounds that show the skills of every artist and give extreme personality for each one of our releases.
Always thinking forward without forgetting the past.
Our label had a great start becoming well known in the electronic scene thanks to an excellent first release by Sebastian Roya, “Asi Caminamosâ€, together with a kill da bass remix from Sian, which has been charted for Martin Eyerer, Monoroom, and played for people like Loco Dice and Luciano in the summer days of kiesgrube.
The second release Elastic body 2 by the hand of our chef Amir, one of the half from Groove Rebels, Amir also had an unexpected success with his first release "Virtual Nature" reaching to the top first position on the German club charts. In this Occasion with remixes of Tactik (Bcn Rec), This Ep raises our profile even more after successfully promoting the record in the hottest clubs on the white island (Dc10, Space, Amnesia, Silicon@Privilege, Cafe del Mar)
Shortly after, the record showed up in charts from Steve Lawler, Martin Landsky, Toni Rios, Sebastian Roya or Moonbootica.
The third dish is in the oven ready to be served soon, "Twang Ep", a release from Hugo Cipres, a new talent from Lanzarote, with a remix from JP Montesinos, one of the new most up fronting producers from Argentina at this time, and also Emill de Moreu & Danny Dynamics present their new project "Bionic Boutique" with an out of space remix.
For the digital releases in our label we bet for a deeper and darker side,fresh tech-house made directly from the Canary Islands with the groove that characterizes us.
The first digital release comes by the hand of Ruyman Mas, "Tierra Ep" with two excelent tracks "Tierra " and "Lo que viene siendo" .
The second digital release will be the last before we end this succesful 2007. "So Good so Deep"is the name of this tune made by also Canarian artist Sauco aka Meerblick, one of thouse deep tracks not easy to find nowdays ,togehter with a remix from Jose Armas ( low pitch rec ) .
Tapas recording has hosted nights this year in well known clubs as Watergate (Berlin), Be Cool (Barcelona), Blumengold (Cologne), The Garden (Munich), Club der visionaere (Berlin), Triple A (Cologne), Velvet (Gran Canaria), Chic-Cream (Gran Canaria), and in some Festivals like Snowzone (Les 2 alps), Eolica (Tenerife) and Materia Viva (Gran Canaria).
