About Me
David Hernández is a young and talented Dj born in the island of Gran Canaria. His career as a Dj began in 1999, in Gran Canaria’s Space club. His great performance along that year was not limited to this club, as he mixed his music throughout the rest of the island’s nightspots until he was made resident of Flip Club in 2000, when he actually begins to express his way of understanding electronic music. David will later achieve residencies in various clubs of the island, among them Small, El Pipero, Chiloé, California, Manhattan Club and Chic. This, together with the different sessions perfomed abroad in clubs like Club Catwalk (Barcelona), Pablo..s Bar (Belgium), Club Maria Tresor Night ( Berlin )... turn this Dj into an important icon regarding electronic music in the Canary Islands.
His sets are characterized by his way of understanding electronic music, with a style that develops through the most electronic deep, tech house and minimal together with nuances of techno, and always closely related to the dance floor.
Nowadays David is resident once a month of one of the most importants clubs of Gran Canaria, Velvet and in Ozono too. Moreover, belongs as dj to Picnic Project collective and as promotor and dj for Skitzophonic, artists as Luciano, Steve Bug, Carl Craig, Paco Osuna, Paul Ritch, Patrick Chardronnet , Anja Schneider, Dave Dk, Johnny D, Jaumetic, Iñaki Marin, Pablo Bolivar, Pablo Akaros, Matthias Tanzmann, Argenis Brito, Jamie Jones, Samim, Daniel Stefanik... have played with him .
